I just got back from my honeymoon and am still on a high. I took about 2 GB worth of pictures of the famous Boracay beach but I’m not content with them. I should have bought the Nikon D40x before I left. But with the entry of the latest Nikon D60, I’m glad that I’ve waited a little. The Nikon D60 is basically a repacked D40x with the same 10.2 megapixels but only ooomphed with fast 0.18-second start-up time and split-second shutter response Read more

The 3-in-one mouse: Makes conversation so much simpler
January 28, 2008
Although Skype and all other virtual conference and long-distance conversation devices have been fascinating in the face of recent times, the one thing that totally trips me out is the fact that it involves too much gadgeting even unconsciously. It’s irritating to have those bulky headsets screwn to your brain all the time and then another mic going up to your lip, blocking every bit of space you would’ve so loved.
So in my opinion, this multi-utility mouse which comes with a microphone and speaker attached to it is just the absolute. Imagine how much less cluttered online voice conversations can be. Read more
Wrong number generator: Who said an idle mind isn’t fun?
January 28, 2008
If you’ve run out of ideas on how to irritate people, then what you see up there is something you’ll surely want to try. No it’s not some crazy version of a spycam, but an instrument, which when connected to the telephone with a chord, can dial all numbers wrong. Yeah, to put it simply, it’s a wrong number generator.
Just hook it up on your phone when your sibling is on a calling-spree, and you’ll be amused with the dumstruck look on his face when he gazes at his phonebook again and again, wondering what went wrong. Read more

Safe Turn: Stay out of harm’s way or keep it out of yours
January 27, 2008
If you’ve always loved bicycling down the valley but hated the nature-harming vehicle lovers romping down the streets without a care for safety, then maybe the Safe Turn will help you shield yourself from those incorrigible maniacs. I for one, simply loved driving down the green meadows and valleys of Massachusetts, and had I know of something like this, I’d definitely have been among the first few buyers. The Safe Turn bicycle indicator is really easy to use. Just snap it onto your wrist and give the general turn warnings with your hand that you usually do, except that now those drivedown bozos cannot say they didn’t see your scrawny hands in the air. Second hand gadgets: Start-up offers gizmo buyback plan
January 25, 2008
A few years ago, when Jade Van Doren and Marc Lebovitz contemplated the great business opportunities of the future, they envisioned a used iPod, an aging laptop and even a decrepit television. Indeed, other people’s somewhat worn or past-trendy products beckoned to them so powerfully that they decided to start a company based on buying secondhand consumer electronics. But they added a twist: TechForward charges a fee at the time a consumer purchases an item that’s new and, in return, promises to buy the item used during the following two years.
The TechForward site states: TechForward will lock in your future trade-in values for computers and consumer electronics today, so you don’t have to guess what you devices will be worth a year or two from now. We make the return process easy with a free box and shipping, and protect the environment by reusing or recycling your old device.
