The Copulare’s iCoral iPod Dock was meant to be appreciated. But as I see it, no thanks, my desk space can hold more important things. Besides, the price tag is just so high I’d rather spend my $2,350 on a kick-ass home theater system.
The iPod costs less than $500 so why spend more than 4 times that money on a dock? And it covers a lot of space so I’m not sure I’d like that. Available in black and white, the iCoral is designed with ‘click-wheel’ accents, S-Video output, analog outputs, and of course, a USB port.
The bottomline: This thing is way too expensive and also the design doesn’t really catch my attention.
