After the Sega Kissing Robot, here’s the iSOBOT, tagged as the next Robosapien that will entertain unlike the other full functioning robots we’ve featured before that can scare the wits out of me. Tomy’s iSOBOT is 6.5″ tall and can move like an octopus. It can react to voice commands and can be programmed to do various things.

Detailed specs include:

• 17 customized servomotors with built-in clutches
• 17 points of articulation in the neck,arms, hands, legs, and feet that allow for human-like movement
• gyro-sensor for balance
