The GINA Light Visionary is a concept car from BMW that comes with a body made out of cloth, replacing the sheet metal usually found in common production vehicles.
I honestly thought that this was just a new car cover the first time I saw the photo. I am not sure why BMW thought about this one but I’m glad it’s just a concept.
The fabric is described as a “special, flexible, highly durable and extremely expansion-resistant fabric material that stretches across a metal structure” according to TechFresh.
I am hoping they won’t decide to put this up for production. Leave it just a concept please.
