Samsung just released a new “green” phone in the form of the SCH-W510. This HSDPA also called as the Eco Phone is made from bioplastic made from natural corn.
It’s eco-friendly because no heavy metals were used in making the mobile phone. So that means, no harmful leads, cadmium, or mercury.
Features include the usual Bluetooth connectivity, DMB, 3 megapixel camera, and multimedia playback capabilities. Pricing not available yet.
As expected, this ‘green’ phone will only be released to the Korean market. Now why is the rest of the world deprived with such products?
