GreenGizmo: Dell officially goes carbon-neutral

Dell once said that the company has plans of going carbon-neutral and truth be told, the company already is even five times ahead of the projected schedule according to a report by CNET.

Dell’s facilities was said to have improved energy efficiency. Investments in wind power as well as in ‘green’ electricity were also made by Dell, bringing about up to 645 million kilowatt-hours and a carbon dioxide savings of up to 400,000 metric tons.

This is good news for Dell who has long wanted to go ‘green’. Actually, the company has been consuming green company for four years already with an investment of $3 billion every year. And now, Dell is proud to have achieved to be carbon-neutral, showing the whole world that going ‘green’ is not far from impossible.
