Sure, the iPhone has hogged all the limelight all of this year so far, but we have also been equally excitd about Google’s Android Phone, haven’t we? Hopefully, it will live up to its hype. We will just have to wait and watch, but for now, the latest news in this regard is that The Federal Communications Commission has approved the much anticipated Google Android phone, and documents suggest a release date of about Nov. 10 at the latest. Now that is not far, but we have been in situations where such announcements have been used to confuse people intentionally, atleast when it comes to the date. A classic example of this again, is the iPhone, which had a longer confidentially request than it really needed.
The phone as we all anticipated is likely called the HTC dream.
Document as Dream, when it comes to Type, and DREA100 when it comes to model, we might be closer to the truth now. That apart, there has also been mention of a jogball, that have been seen in the sketches that have been circulated.
The attachments for which the manufacturer HTC has requested confidentiality include schematic design, block diagram, theory of operation, and BOM. Quite smart, I’d think. Hope the wait is worth it.
