Panasonic unveils the Lumix DMC-G1 with Micro Four Third

Panasonic Micro Four ThirdsPanasonic just introduced a camera that uses the Micro Four Thirds techology launched last month. Officially called as the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1, this one uses the new standard for interchangeable lens cameras, said to be a breakthrough in camera-technology this year.

Specs of the Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 include the following:

  • 0.2 oz (5g) body weight
  • interchangeable-lens
  • 12.1-megapixel Live MOS image sensor
  • 4-channel readout
  • Venus Engine HD imaging processor
  • 60 fps Live View function
  • Supersonic Wave Filter dust reduction system

Yet to be available this November, Panasonic Lumix DMC-G1 price tag is still blank but will be announced next month according to Panasonic.
