ScanBot is perhaps one of the most innovative and smartest scanning system I’ve seen. Why, this one can actually scan a whole book much quicker.
I guess such scanning system is only ideal for libraries and publishing houses who need to digitize eveything. According to a product description page, ‘the book scanner has the ability to turn the pages automatically and to to scan a whole book at once’.
The technolofy of the ScanRobot® has already been patented so I guess it’s okay to assume that this one really works. I am not sure though if the scanning system will not skip a page or two. Because you know, some books can have really thin or thick leaves.
