The October 14 Apple Event is really on. Spy shots of what seems to be the next MacBook Pro have leaked and Apple turns the spotlight to the notebooks. And apparently, there are rumors that $800 laptops from Steve Jobs will be revealed soon.

According to Inquisitr, an anonymous source said that an $800 notebook will see its light soon. If the rumor is true, then Apple will make a breakthrough into the lower priced laptops.

Seriously, I can’t sleep at night waiting for the 14th to come. And yes, I’m putting on hold to get that Acer Aspire One netbook and wait for what Apple has in store for me now.
