All Starwood hotels will soon be equipped with ‘green’ Philips TVs. Just recently, both companies signed a deal that the electronics giant will be supplying the hotels with Smartpower2 TVs.
The Smartpower2 TV is said to use 40% less energy. The effort could bring about $12 million in power savings over the life of the TVs according to a company news release. Now, if only more and more establishments have the heart (and money) to use only ‘green’ products.
