Some reports have it that Toshiba is currently working on a mobile phone that will run on methanol fuel cell. The liquid cell power is said to give mobile phones up to six hours of talk time as compared to the current 3 to 4 hour average.
Direct methanol fuel cell (DMFC) powered phones might feature a 50ml cartridge inside, good enough for up to 15refills.
As expected for most rumors reports, no word on availability and price yet.
