The FeliCa payment terminal is a new robot made by NEC that works as what else, a payment terminal. This one has been recently displayed at the iEXPO 2008 in Tokyo, Japan.
The FeliCa is a touchscreen device that can trick you into spending more in arcades or amusement parks. This robot sells tickets and dispenses data. Why, FeliCa comes equipped with facial recognition technology so visitors and guests are identified and profiled.
