CES 2009: LG to show off first wristwatch phone

LG Wristwatch PhoneLooks like CES will be a lot more fun for LG this year. Why, the company has been scheduling a lot of products to display at one of the biggest tech shows of 2009. We’ve heard of LG showing of their slim LED LCD TV and here’s another one: a wristwatch phone.

This is actually a first from LG but it looks promising with its HSDPA connectivity at 7.2 Mbps and Bluetooth connectivity. Other features include a 1.43″ touchscreen, camera module for video conferencing, voice recognition, MP3 player, and text to speech or TTS function.

This waterproof wristwatch phone also comes with a speaker-phone function and looks classy in either white or black. I can’t wait for CES to finally happen and see how this one works in action.
