This just in: the Nikon D3x is officially official. Meaning, this piece of information is no longer a rumor so photoholics, rejoice! The Nikon D3X is a new DSLR from the Japanese camera giant that packs 24.5 megapixel CMOS sensor that could shoot up to 6048 x 4032 with hi-res images.
Features of the professional camera include XPEED Image Processing System, up to 1600 ISO sensitivity, 15 cross type sensors and 36 horizontal sensors, 2 live view modes, 1 AF points, HDMI-ouput, and a 3″ LCD screen.
This camera is said to be compatible to P-1 GPS receiver, also from Nikon and comes with a rechargeable lithium ion batt for continuous shooting up to 4,400 shot on a single charge.
Nikon D3x is available for a staggering $8,003 or 6,300 EUR in Europe.
