Pioneer this week revealed a new disc technology that could topple Blu-ray from being the king. Pioneer’s 16-layer optical disc reportedly, could store up to 400GB worth of discs.
A single disc could be the future of the portable HDD since it’s rewritable, at least in the year 2010. The Blu-ray-based disc is also said its 1TB brother about five years now.
