Internet TV has come a long way but Intel and Yahoo are trying to make it better by providing a new way to show ads and information on the TV. At present, Intel is developing a new processor called the Intel Media Processor CE 3100 that will be integrated with various TV sets.
The new processor will be used with the Yahoo Widget Channel, a software that may possibly start many people to turning their TVs into computer systems.
This new Intel processor is expected to be integrated in new TVs that will be showcased in January at the CES 2009 techshow in Las Vegas.
