Perhaps the biggest attractions on the CES floor this year are the TVs. What with the great digital TV transition, more and more companies are coming up with their entries into the digital display industry.
One of the more popular players this year is Vizio who recently introduced their new platform called the Connected HDTV. This new technology features WiFi and media streaming allowing the biggest websites today to add their content to the TV.
The project is also in partnership with Yahoo! and Intel with their efforts to turn TVs into computers.
Vizio TV is said to come with a QWERTY slider remote, streaming ads from companies, and features easy-manipulation of the user interface.
Aside from Vizio, companies like Samsung and Toshiba are also expected to offer similar widgets. Pricing and availability of the Vizio TV are still not known as usual.
