The iRiver SPINN has been the firm’s flagship product ever since it was unveiled at last year’s CES. This year, however, iRiver simply updated the gadget but with very little improvement in performance according to a recent Wired report.
The SPINN player is said to feature an innovative nav control very much similar to the iPod’s. The spinner control can be twisted to scroll through the media and the menus and features a back button and an AMOLED touchscreen among others.
Added features include a DMB digital TV tuner, Flash games, Bluetooth 2.0, and can play audio, text, image, and video. Price of the 4GB version if $189 while the 8GB costs about $229.
