The Detroit Auto Show being the hotbed for new cars showered us with really hot cars like the 2010 Toyota Prius . Officially launched at Detroit, Toyota ‘s very own green car now comes with solar panels as an option.
The 2010 Prius is expected to be a great improvement on the current model with its 1.8-liter four-cylinder engine, and the Power and Eco driving modes.
The solar panels will not exactly generate power for the car’s engine but they’re good enough to generate power for keeping car’s interior temperature from getting too high and for circulating air. The battery alone can make the car run and control the aircon system even before you get in the car.
As usual, no word on car’s pricing yet.
