Sony still doesn’t like the fact that people refer to their newest VAIO gadget as a netbook. They insist that the type-P is an ultra-mobile personal computer and not a mini-laptop.
I don’t really care how you’d call it but this thing is really a beauty. With it’s 8″ widescreen display, LED backlight, and crisp 1600 x 768 resolution, you’ll agree that the VAIO P is not just your ordinary netbook. And why, this thing starts at $899.99 which is way more than the common rates of netbooks nowadays.
Other features of the VAIO P-Series from Sony include WiFi, Atom processor, Vista Home Basic, 60GB HD or64GB up to 128GB SSD.
Sony VAIO type-P series UMPC is now available for pre-order and will officially ship this February.
