We’ve heard of attempts to introduce methanol fuel-powered gadgets already but it’s only now that Toshiba officially showcased a product, specifically an Internet viewer, albeit a prototype only.
Toshiba started with their project to develop phones that will run on methanol but this time, a nice-looking Internet viewer excites many geeks. The DMFC internet viewer is said to last for about a week on just one refill of methanol.
We have not much information on the specs of the viewer from Toshiba but this model runs Windows XP. Rumor has it that future models might use the new Windows 7 OS from Microsoft.
