Update: Macworld 2009 News, Previews and Rumors Round-up

Macworld 2009: Snow Leopard to roar next month?
Like most of the current speculation going on, we have no confirmation except for discussions around the Web that the next Mac OS will be launched earlier than expected with Phil Schiller delivering the important keynote.

New Mac Mini to launch at Macworld 2009?
Let’s see if a $499 Mac Mini will soon land in our laps after the Macworld 2009. Besides, this Apple product has not been updated since forever.

iPhone Nano to soon launch?

New iMacs to be unveiled next week
Qanta Computer is said to have received new orders for about 800,000 new iMacs for the 1st quarter of 2009 according to Robodir. You see, Qanta, being the largest contract manufacturer of computer systems in the world today has landed iMac orders, reportedly.

32GB iPhone to get shown off at Macworld?
The new iPhone 3G version reportedly will be shown off at next weeks Macworld which has lately been proven controversial.

Google to show off Picasa for Mac
Another rumor has it that Google will be launching the Mac version of popular photo online service Picasa next month at the Macworld techshow in SF.

Apple to ship quad-cored MacBook Pro?
According to some reports, Apple will be launching a quad-core MacBook Pro at next week’s Macworld. It’s just a speculation but since the MBP 17-inch was forgotten at the last Apple event, the Macworld may be the perfect venue.
