After Samsung and Nokia, Android is now offering paid apps on the Android Marketplace. For a while, only free apps were offered but Android users can expect to be charged for the apps they want to download and use.
The Android marketplace, unlike the iPhone app store, does give all the profits to the app developers. Apps don’t even have to be approved by Google or the mobile network. No word yet on how Android users will be paying or billed for the apps.
