Asus recently rolled out two new laptops, the $1,088 X71SL-A1 and the X71SL-B2. The former runs Core 2 Duo P8400 2.26GHZ CPU processor and Windows Vista Business OS. On the other hand, the X71SL-A1 runs Vista Home Premium with the T5800 at 2GHz.
Both laptops feature 17-inch screens, SiS M671DX chipset, and NVIDIA GeForce 9300M G 256MB graphics card. You can also expect up to 320GB HD, 4GB of DDR2 memory, 1440 x 900 pixels resolution, and DVD burner.
Other specs of the laptops include the following:
- Bluetooth
- four USB ports
- an ExpressCard slot
- 8-in-1 media card reader
- Firewire
- fingerprint reader
- 8-cell battery
- 1.3MP webcam
- HDMI and VGA outputs
- 802.11n wireless connection
