There are reports that ZTE will be releasing a new lineup of smartphones at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona next week. About ten new phones will be showcased.
Included in the lineup will be phones for China Mobile and Vodafone. Leading the pack is the VF 1231 smartphone that was recently introduced by FCC. It’s based on Windows Mobile platform comes equipped with EDGE and chip for GSM chip.
Other smartphones that will be introduced by ZTE include the following:
- D820/D810. CDMA-based handset custom-made for China Telecom
- e760. GSM-based handset custom-made for China Mobile
- U981. smartphone released during the Beijing Olympic Games
