I only got to use a tablet PC once when a friend of mine showed off his geeky gadget that he uses for work. I can’t say that I need one because I really don’t. I just want one because I think it would be so cool. The Duros 8404 Table PC from Roper Mobile is a new table PC that is more ideal for rugged use.
Specs of this rugged tablet computer include a spacious 8.4-inch touchscreen display with 800×600 resolution, optional SSD or HD, up to 1GM RAM, WiFi, Bluetooth, or your choice between 500MHz AMD Geode LX 800 or 1.0GHz Intel Celeron M processors.
The tablet PC can be used both indoors and outdoors because it is water and dust resistant and is dustproof. Availability and pricing are still unknown.
