So many Apple Netbook or Tablet Concepts have come out already but not one will ever go mainstream. Apple made it clear that they will not join the netbook industry anytime soon.
Apple COO Tim Cook recently reiterated that a netbook with cramped keyboard and junky hardware isn’t something “they would put the Mac brand on”. He said that if people want a mini-computer, they should just go for the iPod Touch or an iPhone. He further noted that the company is watching the netbook arena and “If we find a way where we can deliver an innovative product — then we’ll do that”.
However, Cook said that Apple will be coming up with “fantastic” new products.
