About 219 graduate and undergraduate students of Ohio Dominican University and Ohio State University were recently surveyed on the effects of Facebook. The study by Adam Duberstein and Aryn Karpinski found out that students who use Facebook got lower grades than their peers who do not use the famous social network.
Simple explanation is time spent on Facebook could have been spent on studying. The website has become a distraction not only for students but for employees as well.
