The upcoming Pre phone now has the Pre SDK meant for the developers. Just recently at the Web 2.0 Expo, Michael Abbott of Palm introduced the SDK that allows developers to access data from any hardware and run apps using JavaScript and HTML.
Palm also launched the developer.palm.com for the developers who want access to the SDK this early. Only a few developers can access the kit so you’d better hurry if you’re a developer and you want to try it before everyone else.
Until today, we have no word on when the Palm Pre will officially launch.
