Samsung just introduced their new rugged hard drive and called it the Spinpoint M7. The HD is available in either 500GB, 250, 320, and 400GB capacities. HD is shockproof even when in use.
It comes with a new controller that would help reduce power consumption by 25-percent, measures 2.5 inches, and also comes with a 3.0Gbps SATA interface, 8MB cache, native command queuing, and 5400rpm spindle speed.
New rugged hard drive from Samsung will be available this April. Price still unknown.
