Looks like when you’re trying hard to stay from drowning completely, you at times end up taking some not-so-bright chances. Like for example what Sony Ericsson is trying to do. The company plans to bring out a Playstation phone, on the lines of the Walkman and Cybershot phones: Sony Ericsson president Hideki Komiyama claims that a PlayStation phone, similar to the existing Walkman and Cybershot phones, “could happen”.
The Sony-Ericsson venture has been running losses ever since its handset sales started dropping miserably, and the company definitely needs to think of more lucrative avenues if it desires to stay afloat in times like these.
