Next week, ASUS will be introducing the new Eee PC 1002 HAE netbook in Japan. With a May 16 launching date, the new netbook will boast of an aluminum body in a sleek form.
Specs include 1GB RAM, 160GB HDD, 10.1-inch WSVGA LCD screen display with a 1024×600 resolution, Bluetooth, 1.3MP web camera, WiFi, a pair od USB ports, and 1.66GHz Intel Atom N280 CPU processor. The netbook will run Windows XP.
The $500 netbook will also be available in red, blue, and gray aside from the standard black model.
