Google seems to be serious about becoming our one-stop shop personal manager, what with everything it has to offer, be it great email options, several other Google features, then the Calender with the Tasks pane option offered yesterday, and now with the ability to import contacts and mail from Yahoo, Hotmail, and AOL. I pretty much see a monopoly coming into picture now.
I don’t know of too many people who have email accounts on other websites anymore.
So all those who open a new account now, will automatically have this feature, while the rest of us will just have to wait patiently till it gets dolled out to us (which will be pretty soon). The moment you see the migrate option on Settings, you know you have it.

There you can opt to import contacts, mail, and new mail for the next 30 days from Yahoo, Hotmail, AOL, and other POP3 accounts. You can even apply a label to all imported mail.

Just obtained a Mythic for myself and are going to be having one particular for my wife quickly! It has just the suitable mix of capabilities. just short of the full smartphone. I’m preserving an eye on the Captivate for a possible long term cellphone..
.price ranges are way too substantial when released. I’ve been in large tech for 20+ years and fundamentally hack almost everything I personal to make it much better laptops, GPS, car navigation systems, etc. and yes cell phones as well. Inside few days I’ve owned the phone I have previously set up Opera Mini, Bolt 2.1, freecaddie, Google Maps w/GPS functionality, deleted all locked useless apps immediately after backing them up and completely modified the menu method to my exact wants devoid of all ineffective apps.
