Talk about anything that gives Apple’s products any competition, and if especially it has the world “Palm Pre” on it, then you know it’s just one of those many days when you won’t stop hearing about it from one corner or the other. The good news now though is that this irresistable lil thing will have a launch lunch to be held on June 5th.

You might think it’s perfect timing to steal the carpet from any Apple iPhone announcement at the WWDC, but then again, it could work adversely too for it, considering it could loose press value if the media just shoots of in the Apple direction, considering Apple gains from any publicity, for it or against it.
