Okay try not to focus on that uber-gorgeous machine up there, and try to pay attention to the amazing deal Tesla has raked in! Tesla is now worth more than half a billion ($550 million) to be more precise, after Daimler announced their 10 (well, actually 9) per cent stake in the company. Tesla’s application for $350 million in federal loans has also apparently been approved. A great great day for Tesla, which is down to just $9 million just a year ago.
The good news flowing for the company doesn’t end there. Apparently, Tesla has received 1000 pre-orders for the new Model S Sedan, with over 500 being reserved just within the first week of the model being unvieled!
