A keynote to an Apple conference is not a typical keynote unless it is Steve Jobs giving it. Yes, the June 8th keynote address by Apple at the WWDC on June 8th would be done by Philip Schiller instead, as Steve Jobs is out sick. Would it be the same? Nah, I don’t think so! I don’t think Marketing guru Phil Shiller has the charm that Steve does in putting forth a new Apple product out to its customers.
According to Apple, “the Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC09) will offer an indepth review of iPhone OS 3.0, the world’s most advanced mobile operating system, and Mac OS X Snow Leopard™, an even more powerful and refined version of the world’s best desktop operating system and the foundation for future Mac innovation.”
Well, let’s wait and see if they’ll annouce the new iPhone on June 8 in San Francisco …
