Apple understands that its iPhones are super-anticipated things and so has decided to give up an extra hour of their sleep Friday morning (as if they are actually going to sleep).
This means they will open at 7 am instead of 8, unlike previously decided. This change also means that from 7-9 am, they will only be handing out pre-ordered iPhone 3G S’, and will be open for regular iPhone sales from 9 am.
At AT&T stores, the doors will open to sell the new Apple iphone at 9 a.m. on a first-come, first-served basis.
