Apart from the awesome spurt in Microsoft’s search percentage in the first week since Bing was announced (stats here), Bing has actually seen a reasonably steady growth in the past couple of weeks as well.
Between June 8 and 12, average daily penetration among US searchers reached 16.7 percent, which is a 3 per cent increase from May 25-29. The average search result pages of the company also reached 12.1 percent in the same period, a 3 per cent increase against the May 25th-May 29th period.
The number of people searching for Google Bing merely out of curiousity over the past 30 days shows Bing definitely has a big market for it, inspite of Google’s monopoly. However, whether this growth would remain steady remains to be seen in the times to come.
