
Toshiba just launched their new Satellite laptops: the L500 and the L550. The L550 offers LED backlight technology, 7.3-inch HD TruBrite display, and 1600 x 900 pixels.
The L500, on the other hand, comes with a 15.6-inch HD TruBrite display with 1366 x 768 pixels. Both lappies are equipped with the following:
- Intel Celeron, Pentium, Core 2 Duo or AMD Athlon, Turion processor
- 500GB hard drive
- DVD burner
- VGA web camera
- Face Recognition software
- HDMI port
- 4-in-1 Bridge Media slot
- two USB 2.0 ports
- WiFi
- Bluetooth
- Ethernet
- additional eSATA/USB combo port
Expect for these laptops to land this 3rd quarter in Africa, Middle East, and Europe this year.
