Safaricom just launched their solar-powered mobile phone. Officially called as the Simu ya Solar, this mobile phone is green because it gets energy from the sun and is made from recycled materials.
Safaricom is based in Kenya and this phone seems to be perfect for the rural areas. As expected, no word on release date and pricing.
