
Earlier this week, Toshiba introduced their first LCD HDTV. The Cell Regza 55X1, is a 55-inch TV display that features a Cell chip as described. Specs of the HDTV include the following:
- 1250 cd/m2 luminance
- LED backlighting
- 5,000,000:1 contrast ratio
- 1920 x 1080 pixels
- 240Hz scanning
- Super Resolution technology
- DLNA support
- Opera internet browser
The Cell Regza 55X1 also comes equipped with an SD card slot, USB, HDMI, tuner box, 3TB storage capacity, and a 7-speaker sound bar.
HDTV from Toshiba will be officially available this December at an unknown price in Japan.
