This is a sad news for car audiophiles: Pioneer is discontinuing their Premier label before the year ends. The label is 20-years old and is doing good in the car audio market until the advent of new products.
Pioneer’s Premier label has always been know to be the best in the industry. Here’s what Ted Cardenas, director of marketing for mobile entertainment of Pioneer, has to say:
“We will cease production of Pioneer Premier products at the end of 2009. We’re not exiting any categories, we will continue with the same types of products.”
