There’s Power in Your Pants

Some people turn to music to keep them going, but what if moving keeps the music playing?
Green-tech fanatics will love the Dancepants Kinetic Music Player, a shortlisted entry in Designboom’s Green Life competition, which the idea is to convert the kinetic energy from running or dancing into electricity to power your MP3 player.
The designers behind these high-tech leggings, Inesa Malafej and Arunas Sukarevicius from Lithuania, say that the technology is a “100 percent interactive way to feel the value of energy on your own.”
