Over the weekend, my cousin mentioned something about wanting a RED camera so badly. Too bad it is expensive so she couldn’t buy one yet. I’m certain that with the latest RED Scarlet Camera, she’d probably go nuts.
The RED Scarlet is not your ordinary video camera. This professional camera is compact that is less expensive than other products offered by the company.
Specs have been revealed and include the following:

- digitized at 24-bit 48KHz

- increased REDCODE data rates
The RED Scarlet Camera also comes with a 2.8-inch touch LCD screen, battery, charger, REDmote, CF module, and up to 120fps and 1080p video up to 30fps video support.
The price? Unit is priced at a whopping $2,750 while the fixed lens costs $4,750. Really expensive…
