
ASUS has just announced their latest entry into the netbook arena via the Asus 1005PE. The main selling point of this mini-notebook computer is the battery that is said to give up to 14 hours on a single charge, nonstop. Causing the low energy consumption is the Intel Atom N450 processor used.
This latest Pine Trail boasts off a 250GB hard drive, 500GB of online storage, 0.3MP webcam, a 10.1″ LCD screen with 1024×600 resolution, 1GB or 2GB of DDR2 RAM, plus Microsoft Windows 7 Starter Edition as OS.
Price tag of the Asus 1005PE netbook reads $368.50.
