BMW gave away lent about 500 Mini E cars last year to regular people for testing. It was a success and the car manufacturer decided to do the program again with their latest Active-E model.
This converted 1-series car is said to weigh 4000 pounds. To get into the program, one must still apply and pay $850 monthly to drive the Active-E around for a while. Details on the car will be given hopefully in the next few weeks.
