
The Prime Minister of UK Gordon Brown recently pledged $484 million or £300 million to provide broadband Internet connection and laptops to poor families in the country. This effort is to connect the parents to the schools of their children to possibly track their progress and see the reports.
This effort is also part of an education bill being discussed at the House of Commons. We’re hoping this one becomes a success.
