
A lot of people are happy with the $499 price tag of the iPad but features-wise, it’s not really worth it. Apple could have offered more with the price but they didn’t. Instead, they came out with different versions for a higher price. Of course, it’s business but Bill Shope, a Credit Suisse analyst says that Apple might still lower the price of the iPad depending on the demand.
Apple should think more about their pricing since other companies could easily catch up with them. At the same price, other manufacturers could offer more than just a colored e-book reader, Internet device, photo and video viewer, and tablet compute in-one.
