Aside from Apple, another company has filed for a new patent for a new technology. Nintendo filed a patent for a touchscreen steering wheel for the DSI. The photo here shows a racing wheel game controlled by touch gestures on the screen.
The filed patent technology also shows that the Nintendo DSI games’ virtual steering wheel can be controlled by a stylus for easier control.
Should I be excited about this? You know, since iPhone racing wheel games fare better with the accelerometer and controlling the iPhone as you would a steering wheel is way better and more fun.
